Crates are a destroyable item that appears in de Blob 2. They can carry many things, like colour atoms, inspiration, styles, galleries and paintbots. Blob can either charge a crate (press Z and B) but also smash it if the crate is not spiked on top. By destroying of all the crates in a level, the "Clean Up" Award can be obtained. Smashing crates can be a goal of a challenge sometimes.
