Inky Jet Bikes are flying bikes that Inkies ride around on to patrol certain areas in de Blob. They can also drop Leechbots.

Background

After the liberation of Chroma Dam, Comrade Black uses Inky Jet Bikes to try to stop Blob.

Strategy

Given their capacity for speed, Inky Jet Bikes will attack Blob by picking up speed and trying to ram into him, inking him on contact if they collide. Sometimes, though, a Jet Bike will become so fast that the Inky driving it will lose control, causing the bike to crash and destroy itself. This doesn't happen too often, though, so the best way to defeat an Inky Jet Bike is to dodge it and then use a slam attack if you have enough paint points (it takes 20 to defeat a Jet Bike). 

Aside from the ramming attack, Inky Jet Bikes can also attack Blob by dropping Leechbots, which they usually do if you wind up behind them, so you should take care to avoid getting behind an Inky Jet Bike.

Trivia

• Inky Jet Bikes strongly resemble ink pens.

• After you complete Guggentraz Island you unlock a side mission called "Jet Bike Blitz," in which the description for the mission says that Comrade Black has threatened to cut the Bikers' funding if they don't stop Blob. This is probably why the Inky Jet Bikes don't appear in de Blob 2.

• The top speed of the bike is 167 MPH.

• The Inky Bikers' favorite type of bike is the Huey Davinkson.
• Even though they don't make an actual appearance in de Blob 2, they still can be seen in the back of the jail in Comrade Black University.
• In the concept arts of De Blob 2, the Inkies on the Jet Bikes were originally going to return, this time as tank pilots. However, this idea was scrapped in the final version of the game.
